The impact of daily activities

Upon graduation, our shaman teacher stressed the importance of maintaining our efforts by incorporating daily practices into our routine.

Due to my inconsistency, I have neglected this task as I tend to give up quickly without seeing any outcomes, leading me to avoid it altogether. I have even resisted the idea. I am irritated by individuals who diligently practice meditation and yoga daily and consume green juice in the morning.


What is the reason behind my strong feelings about this, and what is preventing me from taking similar actions that would probably benefit my life and well-being in the future? I tend to concentrate more on the moments when I've had extraordinary experiences that have given me a new perspective on life and the world, which occur every few months or years.


Instead of feeling frustrated by the passing weeks and months without a significant breakthrough, I could focus on my daily activities and how they can create my desired life. Rather than waiting for a change, I can focus on my daily actions, trusting that they will eventually bring about progress.


Ironically, my beautiful experiences and insights have stemmed from my daily routine, particularly meditation. These moments of revelation typically don't happen during meditation but rather when my mind is unoccupied, and thoughts can freely surface. This reinforces the idea that my daily activities form the basis of the success I've achieved thus far.


At this stage, I have reached a point where I perceive things differently. I am on the 21st day of The Workout Witch program and thoroughly enjoy my workouts daily. It has been a while since I last consistently engaged in daily activities. I have complete confidence in the program's effectiveness created by her, as I resonate with all the aspects she outlines, and the program receives excellent reviews.


Despite my doubts and fears, I hope these exercises will bring about a positive change in myself. I am concerned that they may not have the same impact on me as they have had on others, but I am eager to see improvements. If these exercises do not work, I fear that nothing else I have in mind to try will be effective.


However, since no single effective magic solution exists, my only option is to continue striving to enhance my life and well-being. Rather than depending on a single remedy to rescue me and face disappointment, I should concentrate on envisioning the daily routine and lifestyle that I desire. This is where my attention should be directed rather than worrying about what the future holds.


I must shape the future through my daily choices and actions to achieve success. This entails committing to mundane tasks like improving my sleep schedule, staying active, hydrating adequately, and eating nutritious foods. Progress does not materialize independently, hence the importance of cultivating greater self-discipline.


Although I will continue to experiment with new things, it will be out of enjoyment, curiosity, and a desire to explore different ways to maintain my well-being rather than as a means of saving me from myself or the world.
